Excelsior Designs Premieres New Dining and Upholstery Collections for Las Vegas

July 2008, Las Vegas, NVExcelsior Designs, purveyor of strikingly sensual and artistic contemporary furniture designs, will take the stage for their World Market Center Las Vegas debut by premiering new dining and upholstery collections.

Excelsior Designs Cristallo Catania makes a dramatic presentation in black lacquer and stainless. A glass-top dining table is supported by a softly curved U-shaped stainless platform which gracefully balances on a pyramid-shaped base highlighted with stainless accents. The console repeats the bold patterns to create a dazzling dining statement that wont soon be forgotten.

Trento is a superb paradox of sleek, sensual curves that belie its sophisticatedly commanding presence. Crafted from exotic eucalyptus wood with stainless vertical accents in the base and enveloped in a deep, dark finish, the Trento dining collection refuses to be defined. The oval dining table and buffet proffer a luxuriously intimate dining atmosphere.

Excelsior Designs will also have on-hand some of their best-selling dining selections such as Milano, Bella Vista, and Manhattan for those who have not yet experienced the discerning Italian craftsmanship for which they are reknowned.

Casa Novalia Leather Vercelli Sofa and Ottoman are classic contemporary shown in a dazzling Leonardo White leather. Its clean, modern lines and substantial scale provide a tempting site for lively conversations.

The Andria Sectional incorporates retractable side arm panels that offer a variety of comfortable seating positions. Wide cushions and a deep chaise configuration provide the ultimate in relaxation. The metal accented feet contrast nicely against the supple Analina Black leather and Charcoal stitching.

A slim-lined base of chromed metal provides the design inspiration for the Livorno Chairs. Cushioned in Leonardo White leather, the angled backs and padded arms provide an ultramodern take on the classic club chair.

The armless Belluno Chaise Chairs beckon with a gently sloped back and seat. Button-tufted leather cushions on the chair and matching ottoman rest on arched metal legs and evoke an element of casual sophistication.

The Tuscany collection consists of three unique bookcase/plasma wall units providing a new aspect of electronic display and storage capabilities. Available in multiple finishes, the largest of the three boasts dimensions of 110W x 19 ½D x 84H. White lacquer panels are bound by a dark, espresso finished frame. The center panel of dark espresso allows space to mount a 50 plasma television, and in turn, is framed by open display shelves also in the espresso finish. The distinct play of dark wood framing the austerity of white lacquer creates an exquisite collage of style.

Two additional units work together to create a lasting impression. The ultra-low console features two sets of freestanding drawers connected centrally by a plasma base. Two open shelves below the base hold additional electronic components. The wall-mounted hutch has four open display cubicles flanked by high gloss black lacquer-front cabinets. The end result is sheer Italian artistry.

Excelsior Designs will be located in Building C, space C-0396. The Las Vegas Market runs from July 28  August 1.
